Provides funding for a consultant to implement a “Reader’s Theater” program whereby students will perform a play based upon a book they have read. Students will act out their character and events by reading aloud a script with expression. By bringing the book to life in this manner, students will build up fluency & reading comprehension skills and will gain self-confidence.
