Provides funding to start an after-school club where students will use hand held GPS units to search for hidden “caches” in the greater-Milwaukee area. Provides opportunities for students who may not normally participate in extra-curricular activities. Students will be learning map-reading, geography, distances and measuring and also will be helping the environment by following the tenant of “cache-in/trash-out” which means to carry out trash they find along the journey.
